A couple of months back, I posted reporting Google was leaning towards opening a new office in Jordan. 20 minutes ago Executive Google Recruiter Nabil Khatib graciously wrote back confirming that Google has chosen Amman as the location of their new office. Congratulations to Amman, and the Jordanian IT community. Mabrook!

In January Tala reported that google sent a delegation to Jordan university to discuss the possibility of a new regional office. This month, Google posted 3 Job Positions in the (Middle East) region.
