Haha! No, we savor the reading.
Hamza, at the school I work at, we’re lucky if they can spell correctly. The number of times I’ve seen “bicth” is depressingly high. And no, not directed at me, either. All that’s written in the stalls I see are “08!” and “hoes” and “class of 08 are hoes”. To be honest, I’m not even sure if it’s spelled “hoes” or “hos”, but they get their point across adequately.

In our house, we’re such avid readers that when we anticipate a fairly lengthy visit to the porcelain throne, it’s not uncommon to see any of us running around the house desperately trying to find suitable reading material before committing to the long haul event. Ah good times, good times.

LoL Hani… I have an interpretation for it. Note that when you are in a gathering, people are eager to shake hands with you. JUST go out of the bathroom and you’d see people trying to avoid shaking hands!

Now look at it the other way: People who avoid shaking hands with you after you take a dump means that they themselves don’t wash their hands after taking a dump or a leak. Those who do shake hands with you assume you are like them and wash their hands (to be fair, you also get the filthy people who don’t give a shit cuz their hands were up their nose a minute ago)

KJ, the 3 years does seem inflated. I think it counts total time including showers, makeup etc. Keep in mind some women can spend an hour on the makeup alone.

About the brief time, this is why bathroom reading material has to be fluffy and meaningless. What I read outside the bathroom is different than what I’d read inside. We have a saying in arabic (Leaving the bathroom is not like entering it). I still have no idea what that means :)

I used to have a friend who spends like 45 minutes.

Anyway, my times in the bathroom are too brief to read more than a few lines… so I just sit and contemplate my existence

Asoom, so if not reading, then what ?
I only have to wash 2 loads a week. I can’t imagine reading in the gym either, although I can’t excercise without music.

That is one super tiny laundry hamper, I’d fill it up in half a day!

I don’t get people that read in that bathroom, just like I don’t get people that read while working out.
